Frequently Asked Questions
What do I need to wear and bring? Wear light and comfortable clothing, flat indoor shoes (dress shoes work well for Swing & Salsa), bare feet or ballet slippers for Bellydance and sneakers for Hip Hop. For partner dancing, breath mints and deodorant are highly recommended. Please email Alana @ tappinalana@yahoo.ca for information about Tap shoes. Do I need to bring a partner for Swing & Salsa lessons? No! We always rotate partners in every lesson, so you'll always have someone to dance with. Do I need to have any experience to take the lessons? No. We specialize in beginners! If you are interested in coming to any of the beginner lessons, absolutely no dance experience is required. How much do the classes cost? Details on prices are listed in the Prices page. How do I register for your ultra-fun classes? You can register by emailing Alana @ tappinalana@yahoo.ca. Please show up 15 minutes before your class with the payment. Cash and checks are accepted. Where are the classes held? All classes (except the lunchtime "Dance Fusion" classes) are held at Glebe Fitness. The address is 858 Bank Street, at Fifth Ave (below Booster Juice). Do you offer private dance classes?
