Known as “the hip-swinging fox with the fiery locks,” Randi Rouge has studied Jazz, Ballet, Hip Hop, Pole, Belly Dance, Musical Theatre and Salsa, and loves that Burlesque allows her to incorporate all of her favorite styles of dance. She has performed at Nature Nocturne, Sexapalooza, The Wiggle Room in Montreal, as well as at The Montreal and Ottawa Burlesque Festivals. She joined the Halloween in July Tour this summer and has performed in Kingston and Toronto. Randi also coordinated burlesque workshops for the 2015 OBF. You can catch her bi-monthly at the "Evening Of Sin" show at the Rainbow Bistro and she can often be found monthly at the Bourbon Room, Fatboy’s Smokehouse and at the Great Canadian Tease Burlesque Brunch. She loves to see her students having fun expressing themselves and seeing them become more & more confident each class.
Rhapsody Blue is a burlesque performer and fire artist with Ottawa's longest running troupe, Rockalily, and sits on the Board of Directors of the Ottawa Burlesque Festival. Miss Blue is known for her magnetic stage presence and mile-wide smile. Rhapsody specializes in Broadway-style burlesque influenced by the Circus and Vegas schools. She has had the pleasure of participating in such events as the Capital City Cabaret, the Toronto Burlesque Festival, the Vaudeville Hotel's world-record setting burlesque show, Shazamfest and more. The 8 week Beginner Burlesque course will cover movement basics and stage confidence as well as Burlesque staples such as stocking peels, glove reveals, boa teases and shimmy-shaking. Students will learn a choreographed burlesque number together and will leave this wonderful course with the confidence to start performing, whether on stage or in private for a special someone.
