Seasonal Sessions

Select the class(es) of your choice and then register for the full fall session, Sept 10 through Dec 22 (14 weeks). Register for more than one class at a time and enjoy significant savings! Students can either pay in full or by monthly post dated cheques.

If you would like to take an unlimited amount of dance classes per month, then this is the option for you. This membership allows you to attend any classes at your level for one low price. Annual members must register for all desired classes at the beginning of each session. The cost is $95 + HST per month. Full-time student & senior discounts do not apply to the annual membership.

10 Class Pass:

Are you a busy bee with an unpredictable schedule? This option allows you to drop in for any 10 classes, space permitting. Expires 6 months from date of purchase. Cost is $145 + HST.

In this level, the emphasis will be on building a new repertoire of moves. Followers will learn different ways to style up their arms, hips and footwork. Some fun shines will also be taught. Students will also be work how to follow and how to lead & follow multiple turns. Get ready for a session full of spice!!!

Description: In this class you will use your body in a variety of ways. Each class will consist of a warm-up, across the floor exercises and choreography. Focus will be placed on using the music and movement to express emotion through dance. You will discover how your body moves, while developing your own unique style in the choreographies (a fusion of Lyrical, Jazz & Modern).

Description: Zumba fuses hypnotic Latin rhythms and easy to follow moves to create a dynamic cardio dance class that will blow you away. Each class will feature a high energy and calorie burning tour of the world. Some styles will include Salsa, Merengue, Cumbia, Cha-Cha, Swing, Bollywood and more. Ditch the treadmill and come and join the party!

Description: Yoga aims to find a balance between strength and flexibility, and teaches students to listen to their body and allow it to guide them. Through the practice of yoga we gradually restore to our mind the pleasure of stillness. This class presents the most common postures that can be practiced by anyone in the standard or modified form. Yoga is GREAT for the mind, body and spirit!

Description: *This class is for women aged 19 & up

This level is open to all bombshells who have completed Pre-Intermediate Burlesque, or have prior dance experience. In this level, students will explore new and sassy movements, refine the basics, learn different burlesque styles, and experience a new burlesque cardio workout! Students will continue to further develop their burlesque diva attitude - onstage and off! A new choreography will be taught during the session leading up to a fun and saucy performance.

Description: This class is open to the intermediate level dancer who has completed the beginner level, or has been dancing for over a year. This class will feature a fusion of different styles, such as traditional Egyptian, Gothic, Gypsy, and Tribal. Past sessions have included work with veils and cane work. The focus of this class is learning different styles of choreography and style.

If you've never been introduced to swing dancing, this is the class for you! Learn the basics of Lindy Hop and how to have a fun time on the social dance floor.

Description: This is a class for the more dedicated Lindy Hopper who has been dancing for over 5 years. More advanced Lindy Hop figures will be taught at a quicker pace. Students will continue to work on their Lindy Hop connection, Charleston, and Blues in this level.

Description: This class will feature a mixture of classical Arabian dance music and modern eastern pop hits to help students learn to appreciate the beauty of Middle-Eastern music. All classes will include attention to posture, safe warm-up, breakdown of movement technique, and cool-down and safe stretching techniques. Fun combinations and guided improvisational dancing will be experience through drills, drills, drills 'till you sweat sweat sweat; it is so much fun you won't even notice it's exercise!

Students wishing to participate in this class can do so with permission from their instructor.

In Level 3, students will continue to expand their repertoire of moves and variations. Students will learn concepts and moves inspired from Lindy Hop, Charleston & Blues. This course will also prepare the participant to adapt their dancing to a variety of musical genres and tempos. (Prerequisite: Beginner Swing & Level 2 Lindy Hop).

This is a class for the dedicated Lindy Hopper who has been dancing for over a year and goes out social dancing on a weekly basis. Challenging Lindy Hop figures will be taught at a quicker pace. Students will continue to work on their Lindy Hop connection, Charleston, and Blues in this level.

You are brand-new to West Coast Swing dancing or you have been to a few beginner classes. You are probably not practicing regularly yet. We will introduce you to WCS basic patterns and technique. We'll mix it up each month so that you'll learn at least one new pattern or variation each time. It's recommended that you have some prior swing dance experience (triple swing, jive, east coast swing, lindy hop).
